There has to be a reckoning. 

Wishful thinking? 

Probably. 


One of these days, 

There should be a reckoning. 

Definitely. 

Probably won’t be.


If there were, 

We’d be on the right side of it. 

I reckon.

Others wouldn’t. 


Though they probably wouldn’t care. 

Some definitely. 

Still.

Time to pull the plug

This blog began back in February 2022. I was trying to overcome a horrible breakdown brought about by a sociopath head teacher.  It helped to a certain extent: I was able to tell my story and expose the despicable and heinous behaviour of said head and their abuse of power, absence of integrity or moral backbone, etc. I was able to rebuild and get support from many loved ones and also from people who reached out - thanks to the blog. But then I had another breakdown. At a different place... Brought about again by factors out of my control... After another period of rebuilding, I am again in a much better place. The scars upon scars remain but I am healing. So much more could still be written. Sadly, abuse of power and victimisation are still rife in the state sector. However, for my well-being, and that of my loved ones, it may be time to call it a day for this blog. AA debacle

Well, well, well... I'm back. Not to rant about academisation or psychopathic behaviours of rogue head teachers. No, today's rant pertains to the incompetence, or gaslighting (or both) in the world of car insurance. More specifically the AA - or one of their 'partners'. It's hard to keep up. Background: I had a car accident on 02/10/24. This is what I wrote at the time:   our car was rammed by a reckless driver. We were pulling out of a side street. The third party was desperate to get through some lights which had just turned green. He wanted to turn right before oncoming traffic could start moving. He overtook the lane we were pulling out of. He was significantly over the 20mph speed and ploughed straight into us - driver side. More detail here . 40% outstanding...

Here is another companion piece to my post: A Tale of Two Ofsteds from a few months back. Another twist/turn from the school I once worked at; it deserves a mention. That Ofsted inspection is the gift that keeps on giving… Website Imagine my surprise at hearing that the head of the school where I had my first nervous breakdown, was gaslit and lied to for months, has claimed on the establishment’s website that it is outstanding!  Of dodgy banners Oh, and had two banners hung outside the school making the same claim. At least the banner states the two actual areas the school got outstanding for underneath the mahoosive outstanding.  However, I think you will agree that anyone who sees it will presume that the school got a fully outstanding rating. Most people are not fully aware that the one word judgment went out the window last September.  The head is exploiting the removal of single judgments... by giving a single judgment, and thereby misrepresenting Ofsted.  If y...
